Irene....and you havent even hit the East Coast yet....

So yesterday I spent the day waiting for the hurricane.....I put the chairs and tables on the deck and patio out of harm's way.....and after feeling the earthquake the other day.....I stocked up the fridge with some staples..

Of course we didnt even get hit with it yet and I found a leak downstairs that made the carpet all wet.  So the insurance company was here to check out if we have a claim......and the plumber is on the way to see where the leak is coming from.....might have to redo the whole bathroom downstairs.....and this is before the hurricane!


And I have learned that with a house.....there is always something to go wrong.......What is your house story?
