They started.....

on Monday - the contractor has come and finally started fixing downstairs.  The walls are being repaired and sheet rock is going up.  Electrical boxes are being replaced....slowly things are coming together.

My day starts early- 5:15 am - I have a cup of coffee and my vitamins and juice - and off I go - first stop - pick up grandson who goes to the middle school across the street from me.  Then it's start the day of work until 12 noon when i go to lunch.  After lunch its finish off the day until after 3 - when I am on my way home.  Now the day does not stop there as i go home to two grandchildren, who are hungry and must do homework.  So that is the balance of my day - and starting yesterday, I will have the workers in my house too.




Some days I just feel like coming home - pouring a glass of wine and reading my Kindle....




do you have days like that - or are your days more like mine above?  I always thought that when my five children grew up and moved out of the house, I would be free to do as I please - but apparently there are other plans in my life that show me you are never done mothering - whether its the adults or the kids, or grandkids.....life is hectic - but then again isnt that what life is all about - people.........
