I am a big fan of Freida McFadden having read all her books and instantly read her new ones as soon as they come out. I started with THE HOUSEMAID and since then I keep saying that this is one of my favorites by her. Unfortunately, this is no longer true. I now have a new favorite - THE TENANT - and cant wait until her latest book comes out.
The world is a crazy place and this book makes crazy seem crazier. It takes place in NY where I live and we follow Blake who is doing so well....and then he is not. Losing his job he takes in a tenant along with his fiancee and thats when all the craziness starts. I would probably go out of my mind also with the things that happen to him. Its a 3 part book and each part reveals more of the danger, and secrets that are yet to destroy him. Definitely a great read.
